After Walter cut the cheese, my eyes watered so I turned on the fan which quickly overheated and caught the curtains on fire, the smoke caused Walter to choke and die. It was poetic justice, I didn't like Walter anyway.

I yanked the curtain quickly, trying to drown out every ounce of light possible. In my haste, I nearly pulled the curtain from it's rod. The water was rapidly approaching the crest of my tub. Although I was in my bathtub soaking in as cold as the water could poosibly be, I still needed the highest speed setting on my portable fan. It was the hottest day in June it'd been, since the record keeping of tempatures, had began being recorded. Honestly, it felt twenty degrees hotter than the 110 degrees that was being broadcasted throughout Sacramento, CA. That was in an ice cold bath, with a portable fan being pushed far beyond it's nine dollar & ninety-nine cent purchase. I had no air conditioning in my one bedroom apartment, and it was so hot that day when I opened up my fridge to find anything to attempt to help ease the extreme heat surrounding and suffocating myself, I found almost everything in the fridge had malted. My pre-packed bag of chedder cheese had melted completely, spilling a pool, nearly covering my entire bottom shelf, in orange goo. Unable to stand it any more, I took all of my ice cube containers, which were basically "cold water" containers at this point, and headed back to my bathtub. Emptying the now purely one by one inch square water holders in my bath, I noticed my trusty old portable fan had begun to smoke. It's motor had finally given way to my constant use, or it had simply just melted under the extreme tempature that day. I will never forget that day.....

I got home from work one day to find that my curtain in my bedroom was on fire, I raced to get a bucket of water from my bathtub to put out the fire. Once I put out the fire, the smoke from where the curtain was burning started to irritate my eyes so I decided to get my fan from the garage and blow the rest of the smoke out of the nearest window. I then went downstairs and cooked myself a grilled cheese sandwich and had a cold beer.
