Only 2 fielders behind square on the leg side. Overall 5 on leg. Off side doesn't have a restriction. Remember Lillee & Thompson bowling at the English with "9" slips. Wow.
In ODIs - during the power play overs only 2 fielders out of the 30yd circle.

There is no such limit to legside-offside in any form of the game. A team can keep as many as 9 on one side, hoping that the bowler will stick to that good line and length.
The only restrictions are the
(not more than 2 players outside the 30 yard circle during powerplay) and (at least four in the inner circle during the rest of the match in ODIs).
Also, you cannot have more than 2 fielders behind square on the leg side in any form of the game. This rule began after the bodyline era.
Tests have no restrictions on fielding

Well in test there are no restrictions. In one day after and before the restrictions, only two players are allowed behind square(leg side).
And of course, during powerplays, maximum two players are allowed outside the 30 m circle.

for test matches there is no limitation for off side or on side but it one day you can have maximum 5 fielders in the on side and no limitation in the off side (you can keep all the 9 fielders in the off side)
