It's a nice area, but you have to be able to live with the climate, and the endless tourists. It can be quaint as well as boisterous.

You are wrong about the population, it is mostly seasonal and retired adults, few teens. Everything is VERY expensive, as it caters to tourist, year round. Unless you have unlimited funds you will not find all that much to do except hike. Socializing will not be that easy either, almost everything is geared to those 21 and over.
