"Because I see him on TV all the time"
"He doesn't look like that kind of person"
"He would never do such a thing"

ENOUGH ALREADY! Like you personally knew him and what kind of problems he was going through in life.

Lets say you have 2 pro wrestlers. Wrestler A is on steroids, he's troubled, he is right on the verge of snapping and killing his family and his self. Then you have Wrestler B who doesn't have it in him to kill anyone, especially his own family.

What would be the difference in these 2 wrestlers on TV??? What would the suidical/homicidal pro wrestler look like compared to the non-suicidal wrestler????

Benoit, what do you mean there is no evidence he did it????? The cops and the investigators say he did it, so of course there is evidence!!!!!!!! Oh, you personally haven't been shown the evidence. I guess since I've never seen the evidence that Elvis is dead, I'll have to assume he's alive.

Why is it easier to believe that a cop killed his pregnant girlfriend who was due in 2 weeks and left his 2 year son alone in the house where he killed her than to believe that CB murdered his wife and child? Goes to show the mentality of people not wanting to believe that the people they 'know' could do something like that. Problem is that no one really knew him - they knew his wrestling personna and nothing else!

The minute I heard this story I thought he was responsible. IF it's found out that he killed his wife and kid, he's a bigger piece of **** than O.J. Simpson to me. This story upsets me because I was a big fan of his wife Nancy in ECW and WCW when she was known as the Fallen Angel and Woman. A buddy of mine and I were discussing how we missed seeing her on tv and how great she was in her heyday only days ago, and now she's dead. Add to that the fact that a 7 year old kid was murdered and it's extremely disturbing.

I was never a fan at all of Chris Benoit as I always found him extremely boring and thought it was a sick joke when he was made part of the 4 Horsemen in the mid 90's. He and that idiot Steve McMichael had no business being pushed that high and I was so happy the nWo completely squashed that group on a regular basis. There are lots of fans who love the "ring technicians" who are f'n robots in the ring with no personality, and Benoit was the textbook definition of that. The fact that people compared him to Bret Hart and Kurt Angle is a joke in itself as these 2 men were entertaining and also better in the ring. Sorry to be kicking a man when he's down (or dead in this case), but I've been hearing about this all day and am already damn sick of it. No matter what the outcome is, it's sad, but if it's found out that Benoit did it, just gives me more reason to not give two shits about him.

Detective Bo Turner told television station WAGA that the case was being treated as a murder-suicide, but said that couldn't be confirmed until evidence was examined by a crime lab.

The station said that investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, and 7-year-old son, Daniel, over the weekend, then himself on Monday. A neighbor called police, and the bodies were found in three rooms.

from minute one when i heard the family issues the day before that was a red flag

but why the wife and kid

Wrestlers have to change their look just for their characther personality. But if you see them in real life then there will be an humongus change in personality.

I don't believe Benoit did it because there IS NO proof. Simple as that.

Yes i'd like to think he wouldn't do that, but seeing as theres no evidence theres no reason to think Benoit could have killed his family. Simple as that.

They think he didn't do it because they don't want to believe. They love and "know" his public persona. That's all. They have no clue about the real man.

He killed his family and they still love and look up to him.

Frankly, that's sicker than what Benoit did.

This is all true, but can we all just wait for the investigation to end before we slam Benoit with names like "child killer" and "coward"?

first of all things don't add up and secondly police have to make a statement to get people off their backs. Its too early to make judgements. We will never know what happened.
