hey..its normal when you are a teenager...just don't stress yourself out - your body's trying to get use to the changes...the longest my period stopped for when i was your age was 7 months..it only stabilized when i went past the age of 16...and it's pretty regular now...if you are really worried about it, go see a doctor and she'll explain it to you in medical terms =D

It's probably nothing. It's very common to have only a few period a year when you first get your periods. It's just an immature hormone imbalance in your body.
Another possibility if this continues for a couple of years is a diagnosis of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Sometimes people only get periods every few months. I think that given your age it's just that you have an immature pituitary axis and not enough hormones to support the menstruation. If you're still concerned see your pediatrician.

Its normal when you are in your teens. If you haven't had a physical lately though, it might not be a bad idea. Just to make sure everything is going the way it should in your development. Aside from that, you can ask your doctor any questions pertaining to your period and it won't seem stupid. He's probably heard many strange questions over the years. Its good to ask questions and get the facts straight. Good luck.

Nothing is wrong! You're going to be irregular for a while, it's perfectly normal. If you're still worried about it you can ask your doctor about prescribing a low-hormone birth control pill.

Nothing. Your period is going to be whacky the first few years. Just enjoy being period free when you can. :)
