Professional coin grading services charge a fee to grade, authenticate and encapsulate a coin. PCGS and NGC are not cheap and you need to see a coin dealer who belongs to PCGS or as the case on NGC, belongs or is a member of the American Numismatic Association. The best bet is ANACS you can submit directly. WWW.anacs.com. Before doing so make sure the coin is worth sending to a service. It is kind of foolish to spend $10-$20 to have a coin graded that is only worth say $10. See a coin dealer or two first to see if it is worth it. On old coins I have been able to grade them from a good photo or scan, but with modern surfaces it is to hard do to glare and refection's. Best bet see a dealer or two for advice.

If money is your motive then i would suggest as Mackaydon did going with a piggyback to either NGC or PCGS.
