Ouray, Colorado. The town literally rests, nestled in a soft crater-like area, sandwiched between mountains. Everywhere you look, it's a breath-taking beautiful post card--year round on any given day, regardless of weather.
People are friendly and the air is crisp and clean....and it's not (as of yet) an expensive touristy trap, either.

I would want to go back to Alaska, take a tour of the northwestern peninsula, go charter boat fishing for salmon, red snapper, and halibut, and also to re-trace my footsteps of when I first was there to see for myself the regression of the glaciers. I have been told by friends in Alaska that one particular glacier has retreated 20 miles in the last decade.
