It's a matter of opinion. Ironically, I would say the middle east, what is called "the Holy Land." It seems to me to be one of the most unholy places on earth, full of hatred, greed, and lust for power. Many people there see wholesale murder as being justified to achieve those ends, endorsed or even encouraged by their various religions and sects. I see it as shameful and uncivilized, and I think Jesus and Mohammed both would be appalled by what goes on there.
ADDED: Reesey had a great answer, and so true! Some of the fanatics in the middle east would say America is the most evil and hated place in the world (it is much more hated throughout the world than it was just a few years ago, but it is not evil). At least we don't indiscriminately kill innocent civilians, including heartlessly slaughtering women and children, to force our ways and our religion on them. At least we haven't since the middle ages.
