pc - you stay in one place

notebook - you can bring it where ever you want to go

Advantages- expensive toys which can be easily broken. Easily stolen. Proprietary. Non-Upgradable. Limited Battery Life.

All-in-one unit.
Closing the lid keeps the keyboard clean.
"Take anywhere" portability.
You can dock it and use it as your desktop so you don't have to transfer or sync files.
Of course, more compact than desktops.
