Why did Chris Benoit kill himself and his family?

Firstly, let me be preferctly fair to all.
It's actually logical to assume that Chris Benoit killed himself and his family. He missed Saturdays' & Sundays' event. He sent strange text messages to the WWE. Employees of the WWE repeatedly tried phoning Chris, but to no avail. His wife was strangled and so too was his son...he is found hanging in his weight room...dead. Now, just because all of this evidence is present does not mean that it was an actual murder-suicide. It could have been a murder...by someone else. Who knows, is wife could have done it. But logically thinking, Chris himself would be the 1st suspect.
A suspect is just that...a suspect.

The police does not know if he is indeed a murderer. Neither do any of you. So you all can assume that, but assumptions are just that. It may be a wrong assumption. However, no one can assume that he didn't commit the act. Especially those of you who've never met & do not know Chris Benoit. To say he didn't do it, is the same as saying he did. No one knows that...yet. If he did do it...that's terribly sad. To know why would be helpful. If he didn't do it...to catch the culprit would be a beautiful thing.

Authorities say pro wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and seven-year-old son were found killed Monday at their Fayetteville, Georgia home.
Detective Bo Turner says the case is being investigated as a murder-suicide, but said that cannot be determined until the evidence is examined by a crime lab.

Investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and the boy, Daniel, sometime over the weekend, and then himself sometime yesterday.
A concerned neighbor called police. The bodies were found in three different rooms.

The news wouldn't start rumors or quote investigators if it wasn't true. Most likely he did it but they can't officially release the information until the autopsy. If this is all true it is really sad.

It was reported that Chris Benoit's wife Nancy was cheating on him with another man and that his son Daniel was actually not his. And it was also reported that he might have overdosed on steroids causing him to go into a "roid rage" making him far more viciously aggressive and depressed. So that's maybe why he killed Nancy and Daniel and then killed himself by hanging himself with a weight pulley in his weight room.

I doubt if anyone at this time knows why Chris Benoit would murder his family then take his own life.

Hopefully after a thorough investigation and the autopsies have been performed more will be known.

The investigation is not finished. That is just wild speculation.
It is very sad. Chris Benoit was a great wrestler. As tough as they come. Usually, he was defeated (or rather, didn't win) because of a disqualification.
He will be missed, for sure. He was one of my favorites.
(And I seriously doubt he ever used steroids. He was naturally tough.) Very few were as tough and hard to beat as he was.

Very disrepectful to jump to conclusions like his. Have some repect man. Wait till the full investigation is completed. Were you there? Did you actually see it happen? No one knows except those "officially" investigating the incident. It is irresponsible, wreckless, as well as down right disrepectful to jump to conclusions until "all" the facts are in. There are professionals who know how to investigate this. Let them do thier jobs and decide the what, who, when, how. Then after all this is done then we can try to figure out the "why". Until then Let them rest in peace.

Let's not jump to conclusions here. The thing about Benoit killing himself and his family is just a theory that the police made. No one really knows what happened yet. And if he really did do that, it was probably because his wife and son were ill and spitting out blood. He probably didn't want them to die that way so he murdered them and then himself the next day.
Btw what does steroids have to do with this?

Well i hate to say it but Beniot did kill his family them himself.Everything comes into play here by him not aappearing at Saturdays live event and then didn't appear at sundays PPV because of what he told the WWE was a family emergency.Then he sent text messages that sort of worried the WWE so they contacted the police and asked them to check on him and his family.The reason i think he killed his family and then himself is because he didn't show up to wrestle on saturday and sunday thats pretty much the main reason everyone thinks he killed his family then himself

DONT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS!!!!!! I dont want to believe that he would do that.He would never commit suicide.Wait to the conclusion. If Benoit killed his famliy and himself then hed go to HELL. But I believe he just came home where his wife and kid were in a disease and he got it too and the 3 of them died.
