Ha ha ha...well, that's a common misconception. June bugs are not named for the month, but are, in fact, named after country music legend June Carter Cash, who was the first to successfully breed them in the United States.
July bugs come from eggs.

i think the julybugs are closely related to the junebugs cause they linger for quite some time
