ANY 2PAC
Any Common (with the exception of the Electric Circus which amazingly was HOT garbage)
LL Cool J - Radio, Walking With A Panther or Mama Said Knock You Out
Talib Kwali - Waiting for the DJ or Get By
Any of the old stuff - EPMD, Big Daddy Kane, KRS and BDP, Gangstarr, X-Clan, Public Enemy (before Flav's recent break with reality), Eric B and Rakim, Digital Underground (for the fun of it)

Some do, but i prefer rap songs without a chorus or hook. In rap songs they tend to have a chorus rather than a hook, unless its being sung by an rnb artist.

But I don't see why you want to get into rap, not that it's bad or anything but you shouldn't try to get into it... just stick to what you usually listen to..

I hope this helps!

All rap songs have different messages and beats. They arn't the same, so a single song can't get you hooked.

anything by the game such as "hate it or love it" .. he has a lot of really good raps that aren't like the crappy consumer rap that you hear on the radio. tupac is also a good choice, try "ambitionz az a ridah" or "2 of amerikaz most wanted" dr. dre, rakim, nas, jedi mind tricks, souls of mischief, gang starr, snoop, and n.w.a. are good. make sure you get into legit rap and not that garbage that they play on mtv.

none, personally I don't believe rap is music. (no offense to anyone, just my opinion) I believe rap is nothing more than a base(not bass) beat, with crappy lyrics that wouldn't fit in any other genre.
