I'm sure he is already on the hit list. Some day the USA will learn that they can't just murder everyone they disagree with. Maybe the illegal and immoral war in Iraq will teach us something. Bush far surpasses Chavez in his evilness.

Actually the Bush administration had already failed in a coup attempt two years ago. That is why Chavez is staunchly anti-American, or should I say more so than before. When Rev. Pat Robertson called for the assassination of Chavez the Bush administration, and the public, said that he was crazy. I don't think the CIA could infiltrate his net of presidential guards now even if they wanted to. The days of poison cigars are over.

the only reason any American even knows who Chavez is, is because Venezuela has the 5th largest oil supply in the world.
The USA is bent on controlling all of the world's oil. Anybody who doesn't understand this, has no grasp of reality. Once they have done this (in the middle east), they can dominate the world with their military and control of resources. Right now they have the military...but not the resources. Iraq, Saudi & Iran - The Big Three.
If Venezuela didn't have any oil, you wouldn't even know who Chavez is.
Grow up, and see through the corporate media propaganda fueled by Washington think tanks/neo-con globalists.
With a new egregious standard in foreign policy set by the USA since, WW2, he might be another Allende. If that happened, there would be revolution in S.America...and they would fight there way up to Mexico and into the USA.
Shame on America.
Shame on American Foreign Policy.

God, I sure hope so. All we need is another Castro. The executive order issued by Ford and honored by other Presidents has been modified in the current conflict. The CIA killed a terrorist in a truck in Yemen a few years ago with a missile shot from an armed UAV.

An executive order past by President Ford prohibits the United States from assassinating foreign leaders. However, executive orders can be rescinded, and even secretively.

No. He is setting himself up to be assassinated by his own people.
We have enough oil in the rest of the world. We don't need him. He can deal with China.
Boycott CITGO products.

I certainly hope so!!!!!!! The USA and UK cannot allow a dictator with control over so much oil to operate in the region.
Why would it be considered so bad to assassinate Chavez versus having to send in the military and cause the death of so many US and UK soldiers; not to mention civilians.
