Maybe. If the Senator believes that we are fighting for a just cause and must finish the job, then yes.

If not, then he can go take a flying leap

No. He seems to have the popular misconception that "change" is synonomous with "reversal". I think we should change course in Iraq, as well, and fight far more aggressively. But it's not my job to make those decisions.

Regardless of whether you thought we should come to Iraq or not, the simple fact is that we're in a war. I would much rather win a war than lose it.

Senator Lugar needs to let the generals fight this war, and tend to his duties in the senate. Then we might have a chance to get this over.

I would like to know where SEN Lugar gets his information in order to make his decisions.

Is he getting it from his constituents or is he getting it from the military commanders on the ground?

That makes a difference. Should there be a change? Sure and it's taking place as we speak. Don't stop the changes in midstream until you see what the outcome will be.

I see the changes, here, everday.
