It is hard to help someone who refused to help themselves. I have done this many time to helped someone who is at almost at the rock bottom. Sometimes I get dragged down to their rock bottom which is very unhealthy for me. It is best to let the person you love or the person you know hit rock bottom before they can finally realize that they need help. All I can ever do for the person is just to be there.

Because THEY have to see the're at rock bottom before they are willing to change. Unless they HAVE to change, they won't.

Tell them how worthless they are and how its all their fault they are where they are at. At least that's been my experience, kick em while they are down. Why don't you get off your bum and fix it?
