Both my children were induced.
First baby: 5', 20" - weighed 9 lb.,1 and 1/2 oz.
Second: 2', 10" - weighed 7lb., 5 oz.
Usually second babies come in 1/3 to 1/2 less time. The third is even a little shorter, but then it levels off.
However, babies don't read the rulebooks [ it's dark in there ].

1st child - induced; labor took about 2 days
2nd child - natural; labor took four hours\
3rd child - induced; labor took about 15 hours
4th child - induced; labor took about 20 hours.

As you can see, for me the only child that did not take long was the child who came on his own. My personal theory is that induction takes a lot longer.
Well wishes and Good luck.

Everyone is different - you just don't know what to expect. I was in labor about the same amount of time for both of my children - 8 hours. The first came slowly and evenly over that amount of time. The second snowballed and was crazy intense at the end. I don't think the amount of time is the issue. What I mean is that I think that your body has to get the same job done, so it either stretches it out over a long difficult period of time or it does it very intensely in less time - there is no good way to give birth.

My first: 10 days early, water broke at home and they induced me at the hospital. The whole thing was 11 h from water breaking to holding him. I pushed for 45 minutes. 2nd : 3 days early, had bad crams for days but real contractions started around 4 pm. had him at 11 pm so what 7 h or so? Pushed 15-20 minutes ( and he was over 10 lbs...) 3rd induced at 39 weeks ( because the other ones were big, the first was 9.3 lbs and they didnt want her getting too big). While waiting them to start me in pitocin I started getting contractons and they checked me I was already 4 cm but they induced me anyway. She was born 5 h after they started the pitocin with 4 pushes. She was my smallest too, 9.1 lbs lol Usually seconds and thirds and so on are faster because your body has done it before and you know how to push better and so on. There are always excpetions though and some babies are just stubborn and dont wanna come out lol

for me yes, labour with my first was 24 hours, with light contractions in the beginning and as the day progressed heavier contractions. with my second had a check up with my doctor, went into labour lasted about 12 hours. usually the second is quicker.
