Most places now turn it into the credit bureau. Then, down the line it comes to haunt you.
If you have to get out of a lease go talk to the man, see what they say. Have a good excuse, cry if necessary. Sometimes, due to health, they'll release a lease. A job loss, something to make a hardship, they're not all bad guys.

you can be sued, and the public record will be on your credit report. So your credit score can be harmed.
go get a job and pay your rent and become responsible citizens.

they will send it into collections and it will make your credit score low, and that will make it hard in the future if you want to rent or own anything.

its cheaper to pay it! look at it when you get caught ,youll then have to pay all the court cost ,lawyer fees ,ect...
