Probably Bluegrass too! Here in Parsonsfield, ME we have a festival every year for a whole weekend, called... The Bluegrass Festival!! So Original! It draws Bluegrass bands from all over the continent! Canada and U.S. bands. Right Now we have The Up North Festival going on. same place. The Wailers, Bob Marley's' old band is there with one of the Grateful Dead's founding members. Not together, but it's a three day festival folks, there's like 30+ bands playing! I can hear it loud and clear from inside, so I don't need to be there to enjoy it!

Both are good. Rock AND Metal need to stand together against "alternative rock"...and tear down the over-done "Seattle" sound that's so early 90's, for God's Sake!!

i prefer metal. cos metal looks soo cool and head banging metal ROCKS high time .
the effect of rock when compared to metal is little less

Only rock you hear on the radio etc is that really annoying poppy stuff like the killers which seriously makes me angry and sh!t so unless there is any other kind of rock it has to be metal

I'd prefer you not post questions that are just designed to route someone someplace else.
Rock is the most watered down term next to Classical Music as are Alternative, Punk, & Indie. All null terms which are meaningless to actually convey any information.

Metal because its the only thing dark enough for me and the rest are too "light" for me :P not only that but metal gives me an adrenaline rush and I get hyped up and I love it!!!

both are good but i lean on metal due to the fact it fits my mentality i cant relate to happy go lucky plain old rock... i need my fuel for hatred so to say
