Since you mentioned taking someone else's word for it, how about this... from FOX News:
"Filmmaker Michael Moore's brilliant and uplifting new documentary, 'Sicko,' deals with the failings of the U.S. healthcare system, both real and perceived. But this time around, the controversial documentarian seems to be letting the subject matter do the talking, and in the process shows a new maturity.
"Unlike many of his previous films ('Roger and Me,' 'Bowling for Columbine,' 'Fahrenheit 9-11'), 'Sicko' works because in this one there are no confrontations. Moore smartly lets very articulate average Americans tell their personal horror stories at the hands of insurance companies. The film never talks down or baits the audience."

I don't need to see it. I've seen enough Micheal Moore interviews on TV to know his POV. His movies are mostly in the "entertainment" genre. He's trying to be funny and get only his own view on things out. He himself has said in interviews that his goal is not a balanced presentation. So, why would I want to spend the time watching something like that, and why would I want to give this very wealthy person some money? The movie is a political comedy, a satire. It's not fact based and he acknowledges that.

I saw Fahrenheit 9/11.
That's a fair shake - and after comparing Moore's "documentary" with the real, valid and verifiable facts, I sincerely feel that I really don't need to see any more of his deluded fantasies.

Michael Moore is very good at what he does - unfortunately, making "documentaries" is NOT what he does.

Some people have a certain set of standards they live by . Now I'll listen and watch criticism of the President , but not from a subversive American Bashing Canadian like Moore .
Some people just don't get it. .. . . sure he's criticizing President Bush , but more importantly , he's criticizing us AMERICANS . And just how that seems to fly over the heads of many Liberals , I'll never ever understand !!

Besides all libs never have one good thing to say about America always how bad we are you should listen instead of whining.

I'll see it on DVD. That way I've only wasted $3.00 on Micheal Moore.
