I don't think you really want to know! Literally, I guess, it depends on peoples' lifestyles & where they live. Where I live, Summer is to be endured. Hot, raging wildfires, foliage dusty & unhappy. All the lake fowl lazy & without vitality. Blossoms of spring turned brown & matted like so much old tissue paper on the sidewalks. (A whiff of a barbeque is nice!) Beaches are cluttered & noise. There's no drama in it, no Summer thunderstorms of cleaning the air & the plants. I could do without it quite well, thank you. But as to seasons? Spring is really renewal, but I like Winter best. (Is that because my ruling planet is Saturn?) Autumn is more exciting than anything, IF I go to The Four Corners. Spring is dawn, Summer is the same sort of day one after the other. Autumn is rich as a sunset. But Winter! That is the end of the four cycles & is profound. We sometimes get snow as low as Mt. Diablo, & hail as large as ping pong balls. (Rarely!) I don't think I qualify to answer this!

Summer represants a timeless stage for me when all the birds up int he sky enjoy such beautiful weathers. When al the animals come out and smell the fresh air. When all the flowers have bloomed and grown. And with that myself as well. Also summer represants to me the time when I met Mr.DeHetern...a 57 year old paralyzed man who has cerebarel palsy and will die in about 7 weeks.
I will miss him a lot, but I 'm used to this. My parents left me too.
Anway....
The Blue budgie that eats out of my hands every morning an dthen flies away...the one I have named FREEDOM...represants SUmmer best to me. He seems to bring joy evertime I see him and his full of free-spirit.
Here are some quotes I love about summer...

I question not if thrushes sing, If roses load the air; Beyond my heart I need not reach When all is summer there.

Summer time an' the livin' is easy, Fish are jumpin' an' the cotton is high. Oh, yo' daddy's rich, and yo' ma' is good-lookin', So hush, little baby, don' yo' cry.

That beautiful season . . . the Summer of All-Saints! Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.

Summer never ends here where I live - with rain and rainstorms on the side.

Too close to the sun straddling the equatorial line, no matter the time of the year.

Summer I know only too well. Everything became too bright after a while. A lifetime, to be exact.

It is the pure, calm whiteness of winter that I dearly long for.

Summer to me means New Beginnings, new thoughts to improve the quality of my life more Freedom..............

Less restraints in the clothes I wear freedom like the waves of the ocean..............................

Since my birthday is in July at the end this for me is special because I always take the time to reflect what I have learned from the year before ALWAYS I learn something very important about my life and where it is heading in the future :)))))))))))))))))))))))

Summer is a time to appreciate nature enjoy the beach the pool with friends and family but most of all for me it is the quality time sitting on a friends patio and laughing drinking ice cold water after a nice Barbeque and enjoying the sun with a breeze here and there................

Summer to me represents NEW BEGINNINGS and APPRECIATION for my Life and the people in it :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Hey I still love the winter too hahahaha but I rather wear sandels all year round hahahahahaha

Fun! Being able to enjoy the sun & heat. I live in MN and winter & summer are like two different worlds. It's like everyone here hibernates during winter, and the first nice day we have, EVERYONE comes out to do something, even if it's just sitting outside in their yard. We take advantage of summer and treasure it so much and never take it for granted because we know soon it will be gone and then we'll have (after fall, of course) cloudy, dreary, snowy, freezing cold days.

Long hot days. Sun. Swimming. Sandals. Sundresses. Relaxing with a cool drink. Sleeping in the basement when it's too humid to survive the bedroom without A/C. Vacation from work. Freedom. Busier at work when I unfortunately have to be here because we're short-staffed & because all hell breaks loose this time of year in my business...

There are pros & cons to summer.

I'm a fan of Spring & Fall as far as the seasons go but they seem to be phased out now with global warming. We go from Winter to Summer with little in between...at least it's that way where I live in Canada.

I prefer summer to winter though. I can't stand the cold...

Sorry enki, i live in India & dread the summer. I'm happy summer is over & the monsoons are here. But since every cloud has a silver lining ....i like the fact that the kids have holidays & i get to eat mangoes.

summer is when I get to sleep in and not have to get the kids up for school. Summer is when the kids can go sleep over for days and not have to worry about going to school. Summer is drinking beer at the river, and complaining about it's too hot. All of this and more.

Spending more time with my kids is the best representation of my summer.

Now when does school start again?, lol

Summer is a great big let go, a breath out, gathering the wisdome of the year and letting it burst and bloom and explode, often knocking a couple of people over.
