I was just curious (couldn't find it online) how often can my baby change positions?
It seems like one minute i can feel his hiccups on my right side and kicks on the left. Then in a about 10 minutes I can feel hiccups deep down (towards my butt) like hes head down.
Is it possible for him to change positions this often?

I'm just trying to figure out what is what - if it's his head or little booty thats digging into my rib lol or side, or whatever body part he chooses.

Yes... some babies are super athletes. Not mine, though. She got comfy and stayed put. What a little lazy butt!

PS: although those hiccups can sometimes come at the wrong time or be slightly annoying, enjoy them! My daughter had the hiccups at LEAST 3 times a day and after she was born, I cried every damn time she got the hiccups. I missed feeling it on the inside. (You'll be amazed at how outrageous your emotions will be after giving birth (you think they're bad NOW)). CONGRATS!

Yes, at 32 weeks they are still little acrobats. My first son had hiccups every day until I delivered, and then didn't have any for two years! [ He cried when he did - he thought he was 'broken'. ]
They run out of room around 36 weeks, and are usually head down until you deliver. They still roll, kick, and stretch; they just don't somersault!

Until the baby's head is engaged in the pelvis (usually not long before labor), he'll move around *a lot*. Of course, it'll get a bit harder when he gets bigger, but he'll keep trying. It's how he starts to learn about his body and develop his muscles.

Yes. He will remain this active until there isn't enough space to twist as he pleases. Then he'll just kick and jab.
