A local taxi company's rate is: Basically this is how it works. When a cab shows up
to pick you up and you get in the car the meter is
started there will be a $2.50 charge on the meter.
as the cab reaches the first 1/11 of a mile the meter
will add an additional .30 and this will go on for every
11th of a mile till you reach your destination.

Waiting Time happens when you are stuck in traffic,
at a light, or you request a driver to wait on you.
At no time does the waiting time and travel time
work together

I need to travel 33.55 miles or approximately 41 minutes (depending on traffic), how much should this cost?

If you want a rough guess, I'd say $130 + tip, but that's just a rough guess. I'm guessing $3.30 per mile, at 33.55 miles + misc. overage. Should be a workable figure.
