-She's potty training. Whats the best way to clean it and get rid of the stench? It's durapella fabric... Is it worth hiring someone to come out and clean it? Or would it be just as easy to try myself by renting a machine?

It actually would be worth it to have someone come and clean it. The price isn't that much different once you rent the machine, buy the cleaning solution and buy and enzyme cleaner for the urine. Make sure you tell the cleaners that it is urine so that he/she will use an enzyme type cleaner to get rid of the smell.

Woolite makes a pet urine and stain eliminator that works really well. I had the same problem on a shag carpet that my daughter happened to christen.
