hav more guy friends than girl friends? i mean i am not saying that i would trade my frieinds but my parents think its weird that i dont really hang out with many girls. i DO hav girl friends but only a few. but those few that i hav are my closest freinds. i just dont really like most girls (that im usually around) they are so dramatic and despite what other ppl say guys DO listen and i have alot of fun with them. i just feel comfortable with my friends
is it weird?

ok. it is official. u are living my life. my parents think it is weird and unnatural 2 hav guy friends let alone more guy freinds than girl friends.
the thing is guys are easier 2 deal with and even tho ppl say u cant talk 2 boys about boys but u SO CAN. its actually just as good talking to them about other boys as it is talkin bout boys with girls.
now i also hav few girlfriends and yes they r most likely my closest friends. bcuz u prolly talk 2 them more and in more detail about "things"
whatever is most comfortable to u is the only thing that matters.
i totally get what u are saying and no. it is NOT weird at all.

In high school I had one male friend to every 10 female friend. I respected the opinions of the females more than the males. Plus I am a sensitive man and guys generally don't like to express that side of themselves. So for me it only made sense that I had more female friends. In you case, it may be because you don't have many steady female friends. The kind of people that will actually stay grounded if their world gets rocked a little. Guys may help you stay grounded but female friends do not. However, you might be a bit of a flirt, nothing wrong with that, just some girls may be intimidated by you. You should have friends that will be there for you and do anything for you. If these guy friends of yours are like that then that is wonderful. However, many guys are chasing something and for some reason you may not be aware of it. This can make things akward in the future. Especially, if one of these "guy" friends declares his love to you and you don't have the same love to give back to him.
In other words, your not that weird. :) Just make sure you know who are you friends really are.

No it's not weird but you will have alot more guy friends come in and out of your life. And as you get older you will notice as they get girlfriends they may tend to be occupied with entertaining them or sharing the girl/boy views with them instead of you. when you have a girlfriend you grow up together and she has probably been through or going through the same situations and when that pact or bond is formed then you will resort to each other more often. It all depends on where you are in life.

First of all, the more friends the better. Now you have to realize that these guy friends are probably going to get married and start families, which means they will have a wife who will not want him spending a ton of time or hanging out with a single gal. There will times when its just not going to work out to spend time with him until you get married too. Then you might realize that you actually have more in common with the wives who are also interested in the guys! Another thing you have to know is that you must be attractive or else they wouldn't want you around. I would bet money that at least one of them wants to date you. Good luck and don't judge half of the population, it just doesn't work that way.

No I don't think so its weird! You are hanging out with friends that makes you comfortable & as long as they are not into drugs or any bad habit then its fine. My son is the opposite he hangs out a bit more with girls than with boys. Girls are just friends or classmate that swoons over him not in any attachment or so but just a group of maybe 5 girls. In fact his office have 12 girls & him & the boss a male. He is the youngest & they try to baby him.

Well your description pretty much described me! I have several guy friends and about two close girlfriends. But my girlfriends are my best friends and I am very close to them. And some of my guy friends I am close to but not like the girls. I mean, I think that every girl needs one or two girls in their life. No, not at all. Guys aren't dramatic and won't cause problems for you, like some girl friends you'll have. Its easy for you to make friends with guys, which is fine. But its always good to have girl friends, they listen and can relate to you more.

It''s not weird at all to have more guy friends, I had a lot of guy friends too. I think the less girl friends you have, the less drama it will create! As long as you have few close girl friends it's cool.

I, too, have always had more guy friends than female friends. I find that they don't gossip as much, and they accept you for what you are.

Well, it's your life, just ignore about what they think about you because they're your friends, you can't just leave them only because of what other people thinks about you. Maybe they think that your a lesbian or something, maybe that's why your parents think that way, maybe they're just concerned.
