put the clothes back in the drawer when you're done....?
get a laundry basket - target has some cheap ones.
get a garage bin.
get some kind of storage bin for blankets...
ALSO, making your bed & opening blinds makes your room look a lot cleaner.

Okay, it can be a lot of work, but you have to either move everything out of your room or work on one part of your room at a time. Clean out that space and set up an organizational setting. Buy bins or storage boxes or baskets and either label them or sort things into them for those items specifically. As far as the clothes situation, I've had that problem too. Make sure to put the dirty clothes in one specific place, and then when you do your laundry immediately put it away and don't let it stack up around the room. It's hard to stay on top of it, but once you get used to putting things in the places you have designated for them, life will seem rather carefree!

The links below are great. I'm not sure if you are in a dorm or even college, but I've lived out of one room for the past five years and the information in the links is good advice. Also, there's always Ikea!

I need to throw a few papers out but other than that I keep stuff in the closet and the rest in my desk. By some of those bins you can get from Walmart or Target to help you stay organized.

Keeping everything in a corner and pretending its all one small room over there. The rest of the room should be filled with old bookshelves and what not to make it appear even bigger than it is!
