Vince showed up on Monday night to tell the world that they were to have a live Raw to honor the death of Vince McMahon(storyline) but were going to stop the storyline about his fake death to pay tribute to Chris Benoit for his passing along with his wife and son.

He was thinking that one of his most beloved and experienced wrestlers died tragically over the weekend, and it would be incredibly poor taste for him to continue with the "Vince is dead" storyline. What would it seem like if he hadn't come back for a few weeks, and then he showed up? You'd have all sorts of conspiracy nuts saying Benoit was still alive, when really the man and his family are dead and Vince wanted to show the proper respect for that.

is it just me or does everyone else think its kinda ironic that Vince McMahon tries pulling off his own death and all of a sudden a real death occurs? You think this was to throw something in his face saying like its not a joke to mess around on deaths because it really can change people.

First tonight was suppose to be the memorial for Vince but in reality Chris Benoit died so they had to stop the faking of Vince death and dedicate it to Chris.

He probably felt bad about faking his own death when Chris really did die. He also needed to show his respect to Chris at his memorial.

i know the whole mcmahon family should be embarrased especially after all the fake crying stephanie did last week in front of millions of people, god she must be thinking people making fun of her alot, which alot of people are!

If you were listening to what he said, he basically said that due to Chris's death, he will not go on with the script, pretending to be dead.
