When someone snaps, they snap- whether its a wrestler, cop, college student or soldier. There's no figuring out their motives because in that state of mind they just aren't rational. You may as well be talking how much salt to put on the Teletubbies.
I'm sure the stress of the WWE grind contributed, probably drugs too. But I doubt we'll ever really understand.
No matter what Chris Benoit's issue with his wife, what would justify killing his own 7-year-old son? It's also possible this actually wasn't a murder-suicide but I'll wait until the facts are in...

It could have possibly been his wife also.The associated is reporting this as a double murder suicide done from inside the home.Details are not clear yet as to who killed who.I personally wondered if Vickie Guerro would crack with the McMahon death thing storyline.Benoit was very close to Eddie and Owen Hart who also had an untimely death.This could have triggered depression or even rage.Thats my thoughts.My poor son is heartbroken over this.

Benoit was such a well-respected guy, I can't fathom a motive. The only curious thing is that he wasn't at Vengeance because of "personal reasons."

the gruelingness of the WWE work schedule and probly family problems at home. Just didnt want to deal with it anymore and took the cowards way out.

who knows, probably like the first guy said. not being home alot plus grueling schedule most likely leads to problems at home. who knows though, maybe he was just sick in the head or something

drugs...most wrestlers take supplements and alot of the stuff they take makes them depressed. chances are he had a dose of his drugs at the time of the incidents
