I want to reduce the risk of my clothes getting shrunk after stitching. What is the best way.Explain pls.

Because it doesn't.

The best way to avoid shrinking is to wash the clothes in cold water and do not put them in the dryer. If you need to put them in the dryer for some reason, use a very low setting (one that has low heat).

Salt water doesn`t affect Shrinkage. Water temperature and type of fabric determines this. Salt DOES affect detergent`s ability to clean. Salt is used as a water softener, making your detergent more effective. You can also use less detergent. However, Salt is highly corrsive to metal, and can be hard on the tub of your washer. Cotton should always be pre-shrunk before it is sewn.

Hmmm, i have to agree with Patti. But it is supposed to help reduce fading of colors when clothes are washed for the first time. If i remember correctly, add one cup to one load.
