Don't do it. You will end up hating each other. Do you want to lose your best friend? If not, room with someone you know that pays their bills ..... but not your best friend.

My personal experience: I roomed with my "best" friend freshman year in college. It lasted 6 weeks, and almost irreperably damaged the friendship. A better idea is to room near each other with different roomates. Even better -- try to get singles.

pro you know you already get along with this person
con being with your friend everyday in one room may cause tension and may ruin your friendship
i would suggest you room with someone else but be in the same dorm and idealy the same floor that way if something goes wrong with your roomate she'll be there but yall won't have to deal with each other and get on each others nerves

Pros- you'll have someone to confide in, be friends with, and hang out with.
Cons- you may get on each others nerves. If financial problems or other problems occur, you could loose a good friend.
