creativity and imagination are endless and infinite..
and with that, I've just came to a realization: Hollywood is not out of ideas. Given that the human mind can be infinitely creative, that's not possible. They just aren't trying...
so why are we falling for their cheap tricks and losing out on hard earned money? is there anything we can do about it?

Beside not watching the movies ourselves...we should introduce today's children to the original shows the new movies are based on and let them realize for themselves which ones are better. Then, furthermore, show them the few new movies that have original ideas when they get bored of the originals.
Hollywood can't keep producing sequels and remakes if they find such actions don't turn a profit. When Hollywood makes sequels they are using "brand-names"...and when those names go down the attraction to being "lazy" and rehashing proven ideas disappears.

My husband and I have talked about the lack of new movies and how they ruin an old one by remaking it a few times. The only way it will change is if no one goes to see part 3 or another remake.
I find the same thing is happening in music as well just on a smaller scale. My daughter is 16 and a third of the songs that she listens too are rearrangements of what I listened to in the 80's.

The abrahan lincoln movie is based on a book. Very entertaining book actually. The author also took pride and prejudice with a zombie twist. Honestly the abraham lincoln movie is probably more original then most movies coming out. As in hunger games, this story has been repeated 50 times in books and dozens in movies. I am very surprised how popular it is.

not all is lost my friend! I heard that next summer they are comming out with a killer movie in which the main character gets bitten by a radioactive pirate and becomes a superhero in which he must protect earth from invading aliens that transform into whales. I cant wait!

that why they need to stop doin remakes and let the porno industry in! they got lots of ideas and could really make hollywood soar.
