A witch is always good. can go as a Goth girl. Or find a Renasance type dress and go as a lady in waiting. With any of These it wont really matter what your size is/ As a big girl myself let me give you some advice. If you dont let your weight bother you odds are its not going to bother the people that reallly matter. In high school I was kinda self consious about my weight too and now I realize that if I had only worried about what I thought of my self I would have been a lot happier. Not trying to upset you but your comment on describing yourself as large kind brought back memories. Hope you have fun what ever you decide to go as.

Girl, get out your corsette. A waist cincher can make anyone look good. You can go as a serving wench on up to a duchess. Go as a southern belle, or Mae West. She was a large girl, too.
Whatever you decide, make it bright and satiny. Check out the fabric stores for a full line of costume patterns.

Create your own costume. Throw together bright colorful stuff like, jewelry, feather boas, wigs, fishnet stockings, high heels, and of course lots of makeup!
