Magazines and online sites, such as Beckett Baseball Card Monthly and Tuff Stuff publish values of popularly traded cards and inserts. Their online sites will have guides for older cards and less active sets. You can also try ebay to see what the cards are selling for there. Remember a card is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Beckett it is a magazine sold at most bookstores that gives prices for certain cards. Cards are only worth what someone will give you for them but there are alot of people out there who are willing to pay top dollar for some cards. I hope this helps.

You can research completed sales on eBay.com or, more to the point, list them for sale and find out what potential buyers are willing to fork over.
