Im a guy. It is mostly outdoors (playing sports, goin to beach, A & C,drama, lots of SUN!!!) There is a little bit of woods. There is also a canoe trip where you need to where gym shoes in the canoe ( so socks would be needed). I only want to buy one kind. Where should I buy it? can ugive me links to sites that sell them. Give me reasons

i think you should get really low cut socks like the picture i've provided for you in the link because if you are outside doing sports, you dont want to get a sock tan. im a girl and i hate sock tans on guys and me because they are so annoying when i want to wear shorts and flip flops.
and you should also buy a few pairs of long tube socks as well, if you are doing any hunting or something like that in the woods because you dont want to get your leg caught up in branches or poison oak.(i gave you a picture to that as well)
dont forget your bug spray and sunscreen.

Just buy plain white socks. I knew someone who got colored socks, and while hiking he got a blister on his heel. The color dye from the socks got in the blister and he got blood poisoning. Half sports socks that are white are O.K., but for hiking in the woods, you will probably want higher ones. Go to Walmart and buy them--they have good ones that are not too expensive. Have fun at camp!! Hope the weather cooperates for you.

You might be better off purchasing some type of hiking socks. They would keep some of the wooded area from touching your skin directly. You might try going to www.llbean.com they are a sporting goods store with many selections to fit your sense of style.

Gold Toe socks are comfy... alittle expensive but worth it... also make sure they are not too low when you wear your shoes, otherwise your heels will rub and give you a blister...
