Yes. My parents have always said that I can do anything for money (which could be taken as shallow, but is in fact every way true). If I have cash on me, as long as I know that there is money, I'll be OK. I'd be able to pay for any sort of assistance I'd need, and as long as I have that, I'll be OK. And please, don't take that as shallow. That is, is it not, why money was created in the first place, wasn't it? To be able to trade and buy stuff to make you feel secure enough to live about your life and not have to worry about paying the rent or having enough money to tend to a sick family member. I've thankfully never had to worry about that, and that is probably what makes me so secure and calm and happy with my sorroundings. Because I know for a fact that I am very fortunate, and take the time to appreciate as much as I can, the things in my life that most people can't have (whether it's 2 healthy parents or a nice house, family and friends who support me, admittance to a private school, or a Coach handbag and an expensive digital camera...) whatever it is, I am so very fortunate and lucky and happy. And if you were to take away all these things...I would NOT feel so safe, I might not appreciate my parents without money, because I knew that if G4bid if they were to get sick, I wouldn't be able to take care of them because I didn't have enough money to pay for hospital bills, Insurance coverage, or anything else.

So yes, in reality - I feel safe, and I feel just so blessed and fortunate that I can feel safe this way. I hope that you take the time to reflect on your life and to feel the same. I think that we all need too. :)

Cheers!!

No. In fact, having money on me makes me feel less than safe. With cash, it is a reason for someone to knock me on the head and take it. If I wander around looking like I am not worth two cents, nobody will take a second glance.

I always need to have like 20 bucks on me. It's kinda like a security blanket just in case an emergency came up or something. But having alot doesn't make me feel safe.

Everyone's gotta admit, it helps. But I'd say more than money, it's love that makes me feel safe.

To a degree. I feel safer knowing that the bills are paid and that I can feed my baby and myself but beyond that, money is just a means to an end
