That question is impossible to answer without knowing what your definition of liberalism is. Socialism and Nihilism are well defined but Liberalism is an eclectice term. It means many things to many people. Ask ten different people to define liberalism and you will get ten different answers.

Well, for one thing, both liberals and socialists believe that the human condition can be improved. Nihilists don't. George W. Bush is not a nihilist, because he's too stupid to deserve the label. But Chaney is.
