No, that would be authorized usage of an account.
On the other hand, if you made them sign someone else's check over to you or forced them to write a check to you that wasn't due to you, that would be a form of robbery.

I would say to some degree it is. they obviously have a reason that they are to sign your checks so to force them, is wrong
