Stop doing whatever it was which caused them to take it in the first place. Become a little more responsible and earn it.

Whining will not help.

Try apologizing but thats not enough you have to show your parents you are old enough and responsible enough to have such a luxury and also help offer to pay part of the bill if not all. get a paper root if your young. if old enough work at clothing store or mcdonalds you have to show your parents you don't expect a free ride and you will pay for your own stuff or at least help out around the house take on extra duties clean your room help set the table for supper etc..

also have you and your parents draw up on paper a contract and you have to abide by there rules for this phone. and if you misbehave or break the rules then your phone privelages are revoked. and you must sign the bottom along with parents under standing the conciquences. so there is not grey area or misunderstanding.

I'm sure you dont' like that thought but your parents will

Marissa
If you phone was removed by your parents, there must be a reason right? Prove to them that you are responsible in other ways than you won't have to "convince" them.

Tell them you need it incase of emergency. Because incase something happened to you how are you going to call them or the police. It is important to have a phone nowadays.Go out a lot come home late...they will get worried sick..then they will realise if the phone was on you they will be able to get in touch.

Ask, yourself the hard question. Do you deserve some type of punishment. If so, get over it, they'll give it back to you in due time. If not, think of the legitimate reasons, and sit down and talk with them. If that doesn't work, buy your own. If you don't have a job......you get the picture. Good luck -

Actions always speak louder than words! If you show your parents that you can be responsible and follow their rules, they will let you have your phone back! I can see you rolling your eyes from here! haha But it's a proven fact that the more they feel they can trust you, the more freedom you are gonna have.

Apparently not such an angel or they wouldn't have taken it away to begin with.

So stop doing whatever it is you were doing that made them angry enough to take away your phone to begin with. Show them you are mature and above your past behaviour. And i am sure, if you ever do turn into an angel, they will likely see that and give you your phone back.

What did you do to have it taken away, and what have you done (or are willing to do) in order to get it back?

Surely they told you WHY they took it - so the best advice is to "play nice" for now, and not do whatever it was that got you busted in the first place...

Or at least make sure you don't get caught next time ;);););)
