why is "talc" in baby powder bad for babies??

its bad for their lungs, but my doc sd to put the stuff on your hand away from the baby and apply by hand.

but something i always thought about, was how many people our age, and our parents age were baby's that were lathered with the stuff. i don't have lung problems do you? i don't know anyone that got sick from it, but ohhh well must do as the new docs say.

It can cause a lung infection if they inhale it... if you wanna use powder, use a cornstarch powder- Johnson and johnson makes some (and so do many generic brands.)

It is said that the "dust" created by the powder causes respiratory problems.

it can be inhaled and cause resp. issues. cornstarch is better.
