Garlic toast made from Texas toast bread or the classic Italian bread variety?

classic Italian bread......I love garlic toast...i do it a certain way with fresh crushed garlic, I mix in with softened butter...then place on top of sliced french bread (or italian) then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (on a baking sheet)....put in in the broiler for about 2 shakes of a lambs tale (don't want to burn it)...and presto...Killer garlic toast!!!!

I SO like the classic Italian bread variety! In fact,I am eating spaghetti and meatballs with classic Italian garlic bread right now!

Classic Italian bread with all of the herbs and spices from Italy, drinched in wonderful garlic butter, and toasted to a golden brown. Yummmm!!
