My dentist said that soon I'll need braces. what color should i get the first time??

I had braces, and I mostly got white. Some of the others, like yellow and black make your teeth look really gross from afar.
For holidays, I would use the colors of that holiday. Like for christmas, I had green and red. For independance day (or july) i had red, white, and blue. It was cool.
For your first time, I recommend getting your favorite colors. You should be able to get more than one color, so experiment! It makes having braces (a normally unfun prospect) more amusing

I have had braces for about half of a year now, and I got grey bands the first time, because they sort of don't look obvious. then, the second time I went in, I got an awesome blue-green color that looks good. And I'm actually going to get new bands tommorrow, so I'm sorta facing the color dilemma, too.

Maybe blue?
As a tip, it's a bad idea to get:
red because it looks like your teeth are bleeding from far away
yellow because your teeth look yellow
and white because your teeth look yellow by comparison
But silver or green or black or blue would be nice colors.

well, my first time i got mello colors and for some reason they looked really really bad, so now i go for bright colors!Just today i went and i got red and purple...i no it sounds weird but it actually looks really good! but, if u dont want them to really stand out then... i dunno what u shud get...id stay away from white though because even if u have really white teeth the white will probly bring out any type of flaw in the coloring and make them look more yellow than they r! well there is my opinion!hope i helped!

i would have to say white. it makes your braces look a lot better, and people always say that they become more yellow, which is true, but you can't tell, it actually blends in with your teeth better. haha. trust me, my brother got white on his braces, and for the last year that i had my braces, i used white, and i loved it.

i might need braces too, and i really don't want them, but i was thinking about getting the clear kind...they're really cool cuz you can barely even see them. but if you really want a color it depends on how old you are and what you're fav. color is...i would pick your favorite color though.

whatever u do don't get white or yellow!!!!
it makes ur teeth look real bad, especially white.
i've had my braces since april.
u should get blue or purple.
alot of ppl i kno get blue bcuz its real common and it looks good.
i have purple right now but i had hot pink last time. it didn't look too good.
i'm prbly gonna get red next time though.

i have braces ever since second grade i am going to the sixth grade...when i first got my braces in second grade...i got lime green and baby blue

it all depends what u into. If u like just goin all out, get pink somethin that says ur willin to go all out. if u like to stay simple, get ur fave. color. Just get a color that says u.
