I added 3 new platties to my new fish tank about a week ago. Everything seemed to be fine up until yesterday. My yellow platty first starting hiding and only coming out when the light was off. Now it's laying on the bottom of the tank sucking on the rocks..? Also, my orange one is often floating on the top of the tank in the corner. I have no idea if this is normal or if it's a sickness. Someone help?
Thanks =)

The key might be in what else was already in the tank. Both of those behaviors are typical of fish hiding from a bully. A list of the other fish already in the tank and the tank size would help to confirm this.

your fish is really shy probably they are a dominate fish in that tank so that why is acting like that

your yellow one is just shy give it awhile longer and floating fish is not good just euthanize the orange one.

try going to your local petstore and getting your water tested. at least that way you can rule out anything chemical, or maybe you'll get lucky and find the problem. i really cant help anymore without more information
