No. I have no fear of death.

I had my crisis involving just that when I was nine years old. Had a few bad weeks when I questioned why I was put on this earth, just to die. And I decided that we are put here to LIVE our lives, the very best way that we can.

So I have got on with the business of living since then.

As to death, I have been close a few times. Not enough to see any sort of dark tunnels with light at the end, but enough to wake up with a ring of nurses surrounding me saying "there, she's breathing again". The process didn't hurt. And I imagine my eventual death will be like that....a loss of perception of the outside world, and then an ending that I am not aware of. Doesn't seem scary to me.

I am afraid that it might be painful, or that it might come in the form of a long, drawn out illness.

I'm not a bit afraid of what happens after death, I look forward to being reunited with my husband in the next life.

Yes that's it - we are afraid of the PROCESS of dying, the pain, suffering, indignity it will bring in its wake. Otherwise one is a little curious. I would like to know what actually happens after death - there is so much of speculation on this. Sadly, no traveller retuns from the shore of death to tell us what actually happens !

No, why would I be afraid of something that we all have to do??
We are born, live, pay taxes, pro-create [ only some of us thankfully], grow old and die. None of us gets out of this alive.
And, no! the ones with the biggest and best toys do NOT win.
I am not afraid to "meet my maker".

Afraid of death... NO.
I know where I believe I'll spend eternity... If I'm wrong... Oh Well... And if I'm right... A whole flock of atheists are gonna be sorry!!!

I do not fear death, the process of dying puts me off a bit, but it too passes.

Not death, as such. Or at least not very much. I do fear dying in pain and agony.

I can't wait, hopefully, I won't have to put up with as many stupid people in the afterlife as I do now.
