This year I'm going to AP bio but i dont have the basics of biology so i was wondering if any one who took biology could give me some guideline to Biology

You should not be taking AP if you have not had a preliminary bio course. That's how it works at the high school I teach at. You take basic bio as a sophomore then AP as a senior. I am not sure how the course is structured at your school. It might be best to ask the teacher. Also, most AP courses give summer reading assignments that should prepare you for what's to come.

I read all the biology books, especially the text books, in the local library before taking the class. That is the most efficient use of your time if you really want to prepare. In my case, it helped that I really wanted to understand it all. That is also why I represented my high school and placed first in a regional academic contest on the subject.
