Personally, I haven't heard of some of these cities, but I have been to the ones in Iowa, and they are great places to raise a family. Nice, quiet, family-oriented neighborhoods, and soccer and sports teams (especially the Hawkeyes) are really big there. Also, (I'm a midwestern girl) I would recommend Naperville, IL http://www.naperville.il.us/ and Cedar Rapids, IA. http://www.cedar-rapids.org/ Cute cities.
