I've been to Vegas a few times and these are places I don't miss! I will warn you though, I go on a budget-I'm still in college. These are cheap/free, fun things to do. Have a blast!

1. The Bellagio-the fountains are amazing (see them at night) and there are gardens inside that are great.
2. Caesar's Palace-the Forum shops are great and there's a free show called "Fall of Atlantis" in the back. It's fun to get a picture with a gladiator. Pure is a great club where celebrities are known to be spotted.
3. The Venetian-the gondola rides are romantic, you have to do it once.
4. New York, New York-is always crazy. They have a Coyote Ugly and good slots. You'll actually get a drink in there.
5. When you've lost all your money (lol), check out Downtown Vegas's Fremont Street. You can get TONS of free drinks at the little casinos and that's where all the cheap food is. At night the canopy over the street lights up, which is pretty cool, and there are usually bands and lots going on. You can take the Deuce (it's a double decker bus) there if you're staying on the strip. It stops a lot but it's only a few bucks roundtrip.

My husband and I just got back from our first time in Vegas. We saw all the hotels on the strip and a couple shows. Has a blast. Our top five...Fountain at the Bellagio, The Venetian gondola rides inside or out, New York New York roller coaster, lunch at the top of the world stratosphere, and the *floats* on the ceiling at the Rio.

(BTW...there is no rollercoaster at the Strat anymore!)
