the answer can be YES or it could be NO. Most of the answer really belongs with you. If you are boring and dull it doesn't make much difference what you have you are still boring and dull. You have to be open and share with othewrs in order to be enjoyable with others. Good Luck.pp

For the first time you will be responsible for yourself. You will reap all the consequences of your decisions. I've always loved living alone. You can be very selfish and do exactly what you want when you want. I don't mind my own company but if you need people around you, then just move into a place that has a lot of people around. Pick a younger apartment complex that has interesting places around it so that you make lots of friends. That way if you do get lonely, you just pick up the phone. You can always get a roommate but that can be disastrous if you're not very very careful. One of my best apartments was in an area that had three colleges fairly close. We had people living there from all over the world so I got to meet some fascinating people. In the complex there was a small grocery store, small restaurant, and a great bar where we used to play a lot of cards and laugh a lot. There were super restaurants and a very trendy area nearby for great fun. It's a smorgasborg (spell check has failed me) out there so make good decisions.

It gets kind of boring. I've always had roommates until this summer, and while having roommates can cause conflict here and there, I am bored out of my mind doing the same old things now that my roommates have left the house for the summer. Make sure you have lots of things to do and people that can come visit or that you can visit. I love the independence of living on my own, but sometimes it can be a little lonely when I don't take the initiative to get out and doing stuff.

Yes it is a heck of alot of fun. You don't have to worry about making noise incase you'll wake your flat mate up, you can bring who ever you like back to your place. If you don't want to do the dishes you don't have to and not have your roomie getting angry and breathing down your neck. You have much more privacy.
Now on the flip side. It is much more expensive living on your own, you have to pay for rent, electricity, water etc by yourself. If you were to get a flat mate don't do what I did and move in with a really good friend, it almost wrecked our relationship.
Although it is nice to have the company every now and then.
Pro's and Con's to both sides I guess. You need to weigh up whether you will be able to afford living on your own, but if you can..GO FOR IT!!!

Being on your own is alot of fun some of the time and if your in college alot more so. I remember my first place and even though there is alot more responsibility it is definatly worth it if you can handle it. spread your wings and fly because before you know it you'll you will be having so much fun you'll be sick!

sure fun if you have sufficient $$. No one tells you what to do or not do. But it can also get very lonesome at times, even depressing. Most people living alone keep a cat or dog (to come home to) at least

Its nice living at your own pace, sleep when you want, wake up when you want, watch what channel you want, clean up when you want, but it gets lonely sometimes.
