I just visited the Yahoo suggestions forum and found this post:
"We have requested a category for Birth, simply Natural/Normal. All others who believe in 'procedures' can define their own. We are wondering if Yahoo management is supposed to deal with "categories", has been given the request. As you can imagine, should this fall into the Hands of a womanwho only 'believes' in anything else than Normal=natural, our request is as going to be gassed in chambers. How does one improve anything if there is:
1) no feedback
2) no category created in order to invite Experts, like Ina May Gaskin - who HAS FACTS & NUMBERS.
3) the possibility of Sponsors &
4) perhaps the Founding of the Midwifery/Manwifery Institutions needed. (Not the quite the conventional Nursing).
Obviously, this is not - we repeat - a suggestion relevant to people who want to go on with Ritualised Women/ Medical risks to their Offspring(s).
So how do we check our information has been passed on?"

When someone smartly pointed out that many women have to have C-sections etc for medical reasons, the original post-er went nuts.
Question: what on earth makes this person think that they have the right to dictate whether Yahoo includes common procedures for childbirth (Ventouse delivery, C-section, inducing labour, pain relief etc) in its 'Birth' category or not? Based on their opinion, as opposed to the many thousands of mothers who use Yahoo Answers?
