I just visited the Yahoo suggestions forum and found this post:

"We have requested a category for Birth, simply Natural/Normal. All others who believe in 'procedures' can define their own. We are wondering if Yahoo management is supposed to deal with "categories", has been given the request. As you can imagine, should this fall into the Hands of a womanwho only 'believes' in anything else than Normal=natural, our request is as going to be gassed in chambers. How does one improve anything if there is:
1) no feedback
2) no category created in order to invite Experts, like Ina May Gaskin - who HAS FACTS & NUMBERS.
3) the possibility of Sponsors &
4) perhaps the Founding of the Midwifery/Manwifery Institutions needed. (Not the quite the conventional Nursing).
Obviously, this is not - we repeat - a suggestion relevant to people who want to go on with Ritualised Women/ Medical risks to their Offspring(s).

So how do we check our information has been passed on?"

When someone smartly pointed out that many women have to have C-sections etc for medical reasons, the original post-er went nuts.

Question: what on earth makes this person think that they have the right to dictate whether Yahoo includes common procedures for childbirth (Ventouse delivery, C-section, inducing labour, pain relief etc) in its 'Birth' category or not? Based on their opinion, as opposed to the many thousands of mothers who use Yahoo Answers?

If you're not reading it, don't answer, as its point gaming. -2 to you.

That person proved nothing other than their own intolerance, unwillingness to address serious issues that are raised, and ability to waffle on insensibly.

Blimey, what a crock. If my sister hadn't has emergency caesarians, she AND her children would have died. She was very ill.

I love the way they Capitalise the first Letters of words at Random throughout Their Rant, like This.

Some have delusions of grandeur. It's hilarious how this person responds to a valid argument with senseless lectures on education and reason (sorry, I mean ''Reason''), particularly as (s)he demonstrates neither. How ironic.

Scary stuff.

Wow, that's one self-righteous prig! and why all the Capitalisation?

I suppose she'd have been much happier then if I'd died in childbirth!
I'm only 4ft 9ins and had to have all three of mine by C-section, under full anaesthesia and the last was only 4lb 7ozs but I still couldn't deliver her 'naturally'!
I'd have liked the natural way but not all of us get the choice!

Christ almighty.......isn't there some kind of group she can join????
Maybe a 12 step programme......

I had 2 C sections because the first was an emergency.........

Don't you just LOVE it when people try to totally shove their own opinion down your throat??

Does this fool perchance have a Hitler complex and is this why they capitalize the first letters (as with German nouns)?

Food for thought.
