Comparing myself to most other individuals. Dumb people are everywhere. Makes me mad. Getting straight A's make me feel smart, too, but that genuine feeling of being better than everyone else can never be replaced by a couple letters typed on a piece of paper.

~Generally speaking, I would have to say my intellect. That and my vocabulary, my ability to think and reason, to use logic, to communicate, to conceptualize and generalize ideas, to understand the ideas and communication of others. That and I can color within the lines.

Visiting this site and reading some of the drivel I find here not only makes me feel intelligent, but it forces me to accept my superior intellect. (False humility is such a bogus fraud, wouldn't you agree.)

So, what, if anything, does it for you?

it's really hard to do that, but one surefire way to make me feel unintelligent is to talk to one of my friends about anything in the field of science

he's explained things to me that he doesn't even know how what he said made sense to me, and he's said the EXACT same thing a teacher has said once and i got it when he said it and not from the teacher... he's THAT good/knows me that freakin' well
