the muse of the hippocratic oath is do no harm - or the fashionable version isn't play at God. i think of everybody has the properly suited to be freed from worry, discomfort, and loneliness. i think of you have a properly suited to choose your person ideals. i think of people who choose suicide are the two no longer firmly on top of issues of their psychological colleges or suffering - the two one in all which could have steps taken in the present day to conclusion the subject yet no longer by way of killing them. i won't have the ability to assist an intentional third social gathering ending to someones lifestyles. that's how I define the word homicide. If i'm fired as a pharmacist for no longer issuing the morning after pill am I additionally fired as a healthcare professional for no longer killing you?

I agree with it if the person who wants to commit suicide is of sound mind when making the decision and they let their family know that it is their decision and they have not been talked into it. (I believe it needs to be made legal)
I mean, why should we force people who are suffering from debilitating diseases to stay alive when they don't want to stay alive any longer? I believe that suicide is always a personal choice and while it does affect other people, it is a solitary choice and not one that can be second-guessed by others. Let sick people make that choice....it is their choice. It is similar to choosing not to have chemo when you know that without it you will certainly die but with it you MAY have a chance to live.
YOU have the choice!! The law should be changed to give people back the choice over their own lives.

I am in favor of it. My mother had lung cancer and when the chemo failed the Doc had her on a morphine drip for pain management.
He let her know HOW to up her dosage to fatal when she decided it was just too much to live with.

I'm all for it- assuming that the person is truly terminally ill, understands what is happening and has initiated the procedure.

depends... is the person in bad pain always and going to die? yes i agree with it. everyone agrees to be put on a machine to live... that's not natural... so what is the difference. its OK to do something unnatural to live but not to die?
