1. A= .5BH = .5*40*25 = 500

2. A^2 + B^2 = C^2 diagonal of 13, side of 12, means the other side is 5.
A = LW = 5*12 = 60

3. A = H*(ave L) = 10*(8+28)/2 = 180

4. A= 18^2 - PI8r^2 = 324 - 9PI =295.7

5. A = .5BH; Base^2 = 36^2 - 18^2 = 972
A = .5(36)(31.18) = 561.2

6. A= H*(ave L)
28 = H(5+9)/2
28 = 7H
4 = H

7. A = .5BH
A = .5*1*4 = 2
200*A = 400

8. A = BH
A = 21*24 = 504

9. A=PI*r^2 = 25PI = 78.5
9" pan at 9*9=81 is closest.

10. A = pool + 2' on each side
A = (L+4)(W+4) = 24*19 = 456

11. A of sidewalk = total area - area of pool
A = 456 - 20*15 = 456-300 = 156

I am turning 14 in a few weeks, and i started when i was 13. But all girls start whenever. You're never too late or too early. Unless your like 4. Then that would be weird. Haha, and when you do start, i strongly suggest Always Pads. You shouldn't use tampons until you feel like you should. Hope this helps! (:
